We did a full-blown German dinner night this weekend. Our neighbor is celebrating his birthday this week and we figured why not have a birthday dinner. As he likes German food, well actually he likes all food, we did the pork chops, homemade spaezle, and cucumbers in a sugar/vinegar sauce. We finished with an apple strudel.
This is an easy and visually appealing choice for a special evening or just a good old fashioned family meal.
